Founded in 2001 by Shobha Maraj Maeck, Shobha’s Talent and Culture Centre, (STCC Dance Academy), has become a home for many aspiring artists and dancers.
Specializing in Bollywood, Semi-Classical, Kathak and Fusion styles, STCC Dance Academy is a place to expand your knowledge of culture, dance and music.
Indian dance school with locations in Scarborough, Ajax, and Brampton. STCC Dance Academy is composed of professionally trained instructors in many disciplines who aim to preserve traditions while pushing forward.

Shobha founded STCC whilst working through profound challenges in her own life 25 years ago. She was professionally trained in the art of Kathak by Pandit Durga Lall at the Indian cultural center in Guyana. Today she aims to create a safe space for her students to pursue dance and uphold traditions. She leads with passion and strength, inspiring everyone around her along the way. Most notably, Shobha has a long-standing history of excellence and has received several awards of recognition for her achievements and outstanding volunteer work. Shobha has found a life rhythm, which she has devoted herself to coaching and sharing with those who are searching for the same. She is also the two-time award-winning best-seller author of “The Unwanted Wife” and “The Ungracious Daughter” and licensed Condominium property manager.
